God proclaims “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
As we go through our lives we face so many challenges and hardships. Many times our faith is tested. It is every time in my situation, especially in the UnChristian atmosphere where I am currently living.
We often mistake ourselves by calling upon God when we go through hard times, almost with distrust. But when we do so, we forget one thing. That God is always within us! But when we are unthankful and show no gratitude for the great love Yahweh has shown us, in our past. God helps us realize that He was always there! Which as being humans, we forget but God never parts Himself, no matter what we go through!
He is the God of promises before we were born. He recognizes us. He has a plan for our lives, that is true regardless of current circumstances.
In Jeremiah 1:5 God says, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I sanctified you; and I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” So it’s my firm belief that God always uses each one of us the best ways, ways we could not even think of! Our situations don’t define our Saviour Christ but they influence our ability to overcome and win, to get the highest award available; that is receiving God’s grace.
My wife has been sick for a while now. Yesterday she was feeling very down. I was sitting along by her side. Because of my presence with her, she was feeling peace even in that condition. So I wondered how peaceful it would be to be in the presence of God, who is the Creator of heaven and earth,who commands the wind to calm down. Who commands water to separate. Oh how great is it to be in His presence! That feeling of being in His presence got me in tears. As it is written “His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus”. John 14:27
So I urge you now is the time. It’s always God’s time. You don’t have to wait for tomorrow, or evening or afternoon. Feel Him Now. Ask Him as a son, as a seeker. He is nearer, than a jugular vein. No situation, no disease, not even death can part us from how much God loves us. He is love. He is the Creator of love. He is the true meaning of love beyond our thoughts, beyond our feelings beyond this world’s science. And “Love never fails” (1 Corinthians 13:8. Amen 🙏❤️
