Seeing Christ in The Spirit

This work of drawing closer to Christ is never a self-work. It is always actually the Lord working on our behalf to draw us closer to Him in the Spirit!

The work that Jesus did with the woman at the well was only the beginning of the story. I guarantee you there were other chapters. We do not see them in the written text but they are there. He – first Nutured her soul. Then. He spoke to her Nature. And I guarantee you, He gave her Newness.

When God initiates something with us in the Spirit. He always continues and finishes the work. God is the Great Author & Finisher. The Great Creator & Ender. The Alpha & Omega….. And so if we would grow in Christ. We must remember that this growth happens in the same way that it began. By an initiation, continuation, perpepuation, culmination & completion by, of & through the Holy Spirit.

So we get to points where self-reliance is a danger. We must remember that it is only God’s power and influence that can achieve spiritual growth. Self only delivers sin & death. The Holy Spirit alone brings Life.

So when we get to points where frustration and discouragement is a danger. We must remember that at these points – God alone has power and influence that need but do not have. At these down points, we should trust Him through Abraham’s Faitheyes; to bring Spiritual reality to bear on our circumstance. Because these & many other conditions in our life – will only yield positive breakthrough change with His Holy Spirit’s touch!
