Stillness on The Lake

Centering. Clearness. Not being controlled by distractions. Learning to be in the moment. Not living in yesterday or tomorrow. But focusing on the real life today! Residing and dwelling in the Holy Spirit. As a Quaker, waiting in stillness to get clear about the voice of God; is a major part of my worship… As another friend quoted today: “Silence is a source of great strength.” – Lao Tzu

(((This picture was taken 25 years or longer ago, of me and my best friend Cecil Stanley , a fishing guide, and I. We were on a Florida lake on a very still, quiet foggy morning. This picture was taken from another boat, by my very dear brother, Mike Coggins. Years later he sent it to me , blown up and framed, with this verse on the picture. My brother Mike means a lot to me and certainly the meaning of this verse and picture does also!)))
