I have been blessed repeatedly by witnessing The Bush Burn for me. Moses had to wonder why it was he alone, chosen to see this powerful manifestation of God. He knew it was real. He knew it was miraculous. He knew it was a sign for him. And he knew it was from God. – – – Yet, even though he knew he had been singled out to see this incredible phenomenon. He could not understand why he alone had been chosen to have this direct contact with God.
The powerful manifestation left him with as many questions as answers. Even so, I have found Burning Bushes in my life that have left me in awe, but overwhelmed.
While I am thankful that God has been so plain in His dealings with me. I know I am not worthy. And like Moses, I often leave these real experiences with God, with as many questions as answers.
And – You know it’s funny thing. When you find yourself facing deep questions, on the inside of you. And You approach Divinely appointed crossroads that are beyond your ability to understand. If you humbly Trust God with those situations. Many times you just have to rest the vision and it’s message, as an “OK, God will help me know when I am ready.”
Then continue the faith with a solid resting the matter on the shelf of “not needing to figure it out.” Many times, this humble acceptance leads to going to bed with a sweet childlike faith, believing God will show me “when I’m ready.” And then in this simple resting the matter in the sleep of honest release. You often will awake refreshed, the morning after; aware of a deep understanding & answer!
So Let your evening Thoughts & Prayers, be as simple as “Now I lay me down to sleep. I ask the Lord my soul to keep, and if I die before I wake; I trust the Lord my soul to take.” Let go, to rest your concerns in the heart of God. And often you will awake with the rest of Holy, restoration. It’s something simple. It’s something sweet. It’s something pure. It’s called trust.
