The church where I pastor is always doing good things. Good things for God. Good things for people in the church. Good things for others, especially those in our community. Under my wife Dawn’s leadership, we made a positive difference in Randolph county, North Carolina where our church is located.

Last Saturday 8-17-2024, at the community college occurred a special cooperative charitable event. It was called “Cutting For A Cause!” A local hairdressers Association, the Asheboro Chamber of Commerce, Randolph Community College, Sawyersville Church and some other mighty fine people teamed up for this wonderful local event to help kids go back to school. Free haircuts were given – free bicycles were given away – and Sawyersville contributed 50 backpacks with a plentous stocking of back to school supplies! 🙂
