A Brighter Day

A Brighter Day

The journey is long and often rough,
The trials we face make Passage trying & tough.
But Christ’s disciples dwell not in the pain of the way,
Their Eyes Are Fixed On A Brighter Day.

Because even though we must Journey this Trail of Tears,
We feel a sure Comfort, greater than all our fears.
For our Savior not only holds our hand and guides our feet.
He prepares us a reward- worth the most challenging feat!

Because as Christ’s believers, we not only have His presence on the path,
We also know that joy- peace & love is our reward, in life’s aftermath!
So when our loved ones leave this place in the past,
We can know they go to a wonderful place that will forever last!

So be encouraged when facing this Rocky Road,
That one goes with us, who will help carry our load.
And in the end when this life is taken away,
We go to a place of brighter unending day!

So really, The trials we suffer now indeed are slight,
When we know that forever we will dwell in God’s light!
So take courage and heart in life’s bitter demands,
Because in the end Christ will heal our heart with His hands.

The Believer need leave not this life in hurt or defeat,
Because we will be translated forever into God’s Holy retreat!
So receive God’s Spirit, to face unafraid life’s mean streets,
Knowing forever you will be comforted- with Heaven’s Celestial treats.

So face this life with a Gladiator’s heart,
You can be sure that in the end God will do His part.
So then when you leave this life and it’s many moments of pain,
You will know that not a second has been in vain.

We need not leave this life in whimper and loss.
Because God has made something beautiful for us in Christ’s cross!
So though the dead in Christ stop earth’s giving,
They’ve truly only begun their most wonderful living!

Blessed Assurance we can deeply know,

Because when leaving this mortal life-

into Our Savior’s arms forever we go!
