So, doing essential work that has helped others stay in and stay safe, I have worked through covid-19 with very strenuous manual work. And I am thankful. When I am not doing this, like everybody else I am Sheltering in place. Saving lives, staying at home or at least that’s what I hope it’s all about. So today as I stood in my kitchen waiting on a cup of tea to heat. I just paused and privately in my heart and in my mind, said something like God could you please show me a sign that You’re here with me in all of this. And I had a few Quiet Moments and was assured and certain, in my heart that God was there with me.. Then, right when I thought that the whole Assurance answering my prayer, was going to be just that silent, still, sweet presence of the Lord in my heart,. A cardinal landed right on the rail of my back deck, as if it was there under orders to say hello to me. It was only about ten feet away it was so pretty and bright & red it was clearly one of those God moments, when our Eternal Maker shows up and says “I am here.” I hope that you’re having confirming experiences as you shelter in place, with the Living God; Who will go with us, in and through any experience of Our Lives! He is “the God Who is there and Who does care!”
