INSIDE OUT LIVING

MESSAGE I BROUGHT AT FORSYTH FRIENDS MEETING 11/29/2020

Message I brought this morning:
INSIDE OUT LIVING
1- I’ve got the message. Or should I say, the message has me!
Vs. Galatians 2:20 NLT – My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Romans 7 speaks of a principle Within. Living in reference to the principle within instead of in context to the world without is the only way to have peace and life that makes sense in our times. “Christ in us is the hope of glory!” Col. 1:27
2- Live today, come what may. Christ gives us a balance the world doesn’t have.
Vs. Phil 4:11-Phil 4:13 – Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
£££1- One day at a time sweet Jesus
That’s all I’m asking of You. Just give me the strength
To do everyday what I have to do.
Yesterday’s gone sweet Jesus
And tomorrow may never come Lord help me today,
show me the way. One day at a time
Repeat.

3- Inside Out living. There is Serenity in acceptance.
Vs. Phillipians 4:7 and (A)the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. NKJV

4- God fills the Atmosphere. He is inside everything!
Vs. Jeremiah 23:24. Can a man hide himself in hiding places, So I do not see him? declares the Lord. “Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?” declares the Lord.
-Omnipresence
Stephen Hawkins micro-miniature event horizon.
No matter how high you look, God is there.
No matter how low you look, God is there.

5- The Patterns in life show The fingerprint of God.
Vs. John 1:3 – All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Dimes in the floor.

  1. Cross on the floor.
I spy by the hand of the Lord.
Vs. Ps. 19:1 – The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. NKJV
… sometimes other version verses add interpretive cclarity
Vs. Ps. 19:1 – The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. ESV
Vs. Ps. 19:2 – The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. NLT
The pattern is proof. God shows up in the numbers. We are looking without. But most times God wants to show up within..
Don’t look for miracles out there. Look for miracles in here ❤.

6- There are Miracles in the mundane. Daily Devotion.
Vs. “Come, you who are blessed of my father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.” (Matthew 25:34-39)
-How my mother celebrated seeing God in Daily Duty.
-Pessimism fills the day with doubt. Gratitude and hope fills the day with joy and faith.

7- Life is good! Changing the way we perceive our life.
Life is not about what we do but who we are! – “Perception is reality!” Tommy Childress // Dear Life!
Vs. Ephesians 2:10. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. /// ESV On the day of salvation, I helped you. ‘ Indeed, the ‘right time’ is now.
8- Now is our moment to let God on the Inside be our source of wisdom @ what to do about The outside.
Vs. 2 Corinthians 6:2. for He says, “At the acceptable time I listened to you, And on the day of salvation I helped you.”
Behold, now is “the acceptable time,” behold, now is “the day of salvation”—
Not yesterday. Not tomorrow. Not next week. But right now. Celebrate this moment.
Life is now. Now is life. Daily Bread. Daily manna. Daily seeking. Being in the moment. God is in the details. Such as fingerprints, such as the God particle, such as design threads.

  • but you must change the channel, as with a TV, your life will reflect what’s playing. You may paint a trash can on the outside but it will still be full garbage inside. Change the channel now!
  • Although I may not be able to ensure the whole world submits to God’s control. Daily, I try to yield my life to His control as I hope you do. Even if the darkness comes, I will shine my light; with the Grace, Mercy, Power and strengthening of His Holy Spirit.
£££2- One day at a time sweet Jesus
That’s all I’m asking from you.
    Just give me the strength
To do everyday what I have to do.
    Yesterday’s gone sweet Jesus
And tomorrow may never be mine.
Lord help me today, show me the way
    One day at a time.

9- Love is How Inside Out living will positively influence our relationships.
Vs. 1 Jn. 4:7. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God
There is no greater need than for all of us is to draw closer to Christ and each other.
Social distancing should only be something that we do on the outside. But on the inside we should draw closer to Christ and to each other. Even if we have to keep physical distance, we can draw closer spiritually. mentally, and emotionally. The power of a platonic Bond cannot be overestimated. Even as we are forced by society to wear face shields, let us become clearer and more transparent to each other, In other ways. As the old saying goes; when life gives us lemons, let’s make lemonade.

10- Where the rubber meets the road! is An attitude of GRATITUDE!
I love concepts in the scriptures that are so prolific that they are unmistakable & irrefutable. Gratitude is one of these & the clearest indicator that one has grasped INSIDE-OUT living.
Vs. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Vs. Ephesians 5:20 KJV. “Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;”

Dear Friends, with the absence of many of the traditional celebrations of Thanksgiving, this year’s holiday was restrained. Yet even in that there is room to give Thanks, as people try to take care of each other, through the social distance. But something as wonderful as a day dedicated to give Thanks is uplifting, even in the midst of the pandemic. Godcwill lift our ❤, even in the midst of the challenges, if we allow His
Light & Love to fill our hearts!
