Passion not Piety defines us as Spiritual

Jesus said blessed are the poor in spirit. You don’t hear this preached on much.
You can have every Doctrine in the Bible straight in your head. You can have the most extensive knowledge base about God in the world. And still completely miss the whole point. That is why Jesus told the religious leader that his prayer of smug prudery would do him no good before God. While the penitent plea of the tax collector who knew that he was lost & had no hope without God. Yet it was he who found his heart touched by the Almighty. It is not the concepts we understand. But the passion we feel in our heart towards the Savior who alone understands – – – that will Avail our hearts towards God. ((See Luke 18:10-14)) So passion, not piety opens the door for God to come into our hearts and Lead Our Lives.  ////

Knowledge alone corrupts, Motive Matters Most & Passion Proves Purity: The One Anotherness Factor
Topic Verse: John 13:35 / NKJV.
By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.
Luke 18:10-14
New Living Translation
10 “Two men went to the Temple to pray. One was a Pharisee, and the other was a despised tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed this prayer[a]: ‘I thank you, God, that I am not like other people—cheaters, sinners, adulterers. I’m certainly not like that tax collector! 12 I fast twice a week, and I give you a tenth of my income.’
13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying, ‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’ 14 I tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

1 of 7) God is interested in Hearts full of spiritual love and genuine devotion, more than intellectual comprehension.

… We should be quicker to encourage-admonish & lift up Christian brothers & sisters-than to correct their religious phraseology. People need Jesus, not Pharisaic language. 1 anotherness is referred to 100 times in the New Testament // TOPIC VERSE Jn. 13:35 //
I often witness so-called Christian believers quick to harshly criticize people that don’t use their particular style of religious understanding & language.
Recently I have witnessed a wealth of people arguing & running others down for the use of a wrong name of God. People who have no real knowledge of ancient languages, claiming to be Experts about the meaning of words that they have no true knowledge of… and then proceeding to cram this religious certainty & prudery down others throats SUPPOSEDLY in the name of God.
Direct communication is always preferable to official voices.
Quakerism 101
One language is absolutely crystal clear & is always the language of God. And that is the language of love. Nobody made Jesus angrier in his day then the Pharisees and Sadducees claiming spiritually Superior and correct pontificated knowledge, without having genuinely devoted & spiritually empassioned hearts.

2 of 7) It is not your knowledge that will gain you entrance into heaven. But a heart full of the love of the Son oangrie
A child honors his parents name by love & respect. MT. 18:3 says we must become as a child-It is not a knowledge of Hebrew or Greek that honors Him. It is heart condition, not head knowledge that honors God most. George Fox Quakerism 101. You need the direct counsel of God more than church officials & leadership dogma.
Recently, I had a brother in Christ ready to castigate me to hell for not having the same views he had over Christian sacraments. It is not your knowledge that will gain you entrance into heaven. But a heart full of the love of the Son of God, that He demonstrated to us by sacrificing in His life on a gruesome cross.
3 of 7) Confession of sin and admission of need are Foundation steps to God, not Proclamations of self-righteousness.
Knowledge-even in God’s name does not impress the Father/((Many shall come to me and say Lord Lord, {and I will say depart from me I never knew you})) Spiritual fruit not fleshly works or knowledge cause spiritual growth-
Lk. 18:9-14 makes it plain that it is humbly seeking; not personal pride that pleases God/Its your heart not your head or correctly identifying His name that pleases or displeases God.
It is ready admission to weakness that moves the heart of God & is foundation to true worship. Not a dazzling, impressive display of biblical knowledge.
Lk. 18:13: And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; “
4 of 7) It is the sincerity of our heart not the correctness of our language, that pleases God.
Matthew 7:21 & 24 makes it plain, doing the will of the Father not just speaking His name pleases Him.
Not long ago, I witnessed a sister offer sincere and honest praise from her heart. But her terminology was not doctrinally sid and she was spurned and scolded because of her lack of understanding; but I’ll tell you The motive of her heart will be blessed, regardless of imperfect terminology…
5 of 7) Ernest love for God is the great commandment. Not Superior knowledge.
Matthew 22:37-40 NKJV. 37 Jesus said to him, (A)“‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: (B)‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 (C)On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
I have a friend who’s somewhat mentally disabled-But he loves God with all of his being. It is so beautiful to watch his life and did you say the obvious pleasure of our Heavenly Father in the way he lives. It is this Earnest love for God-our Father seeks…. not just correct words. [[Rev. 3:16]]/ he wouldn’t even understand an argument against his limited spiritual vocabulary but I guarantee
You his heart’s clean before God.
The intellectually proficient and technically efficient are to be commended if the intensity of their love for God matches the height of their theological jargon. Otherwise fancy religious knowledge benefits nothing.nothing.
The demeaning game “Stump The Chump” should never be played in the church.
6 of 7) God wants love above knowledge.
Knowledge puffs up, but LOVE builds up. 1st Corinthians 8:1
~~ don’t get me wrong or misquote me. I’m not saying that knowledge is not important. Just that a true and devoted heart is more important, most especially in our relationship with God~~ // We live in a world of circumstance today we’re all kinds of crazy things are referred to as right. It is like our world has forgotten that motive matters. It is not our knowledge that approves Us in the sight of God but a True, Christ Loving, heart.
1 Corinthians 13:1, Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
7 of 7) Worship in SPIRIT and in truth is the only kind of worship that God wants!
Jn 4:24 makes it plain all real worship is in Spirit & truth. I am not advocating ignorance. But it is real heart dedication that avails us to God more; than precise theological education.
John 8:7 So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”
John 13:35 / NKJV. // By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Stump the chump is never a game that should be played in God’s house.
Motive matters and leads us to one anotherness. On this Sunday, after Easter Sunday, why not dedicate yourself anew to having a humble and tender heart with your Maker and a merciful and gracious heart towards your fellow man, particularly those who have a testimony of Faith.
John 13:35 / New Living Translation. Your love for one another will PROVE to the world that you are my disciples.”
