12 Wonderful Truths of the Gospel. —————————————————
1- God revealed His interest and care for the human race through historical dealings with a specific people he called his own, the Jews. God revealed His wonderful moral nature through the laws that He taught to these people. These monotheistic, principles of Truth and Justice brought life and hope to all humankind and became the very foundation & essence of all laws of men.
Deuteronomy 7:6 For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
2- God revealed that He would further reveal and complete His plans for Mankind through a (yet to come) Saviour. The prophets told in very intricate detail the pre-announcements that God would send a Savior.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).
3- God sent a Saviour in a wonderful fulfillment of His promises. In the Fulfillment of time God sent His Son, Jesus.
Galatians 4:4, KJV: “But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,”
4- God not only sent a Savior. But the Savior He sent was a son of man, one of us. And only as one of us could alone stand in place of us, in the seat of judgment.
Matthew 20:28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
John 5:27 and He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man.
5- The Savior He sent was more than just one of us. He was both God & man. And as such, He alone could satisfy the righteousness of God & the desperate need of man. As man he could offer himself to be a true representative of mankind. And as God He alone could offer Himself as the only spotless & Guiltless 1 of us that could make a pure sacrifice.
Isaiah 9:6 – For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
6- Jesus was a real & verifiable historic figure. Our world is full of fiction. But Jesus was not an X-Man. Jesus was not an Avenger. Jesus was not some pretty, imaginary, illusionary pretense of super human. Jesus was the real deal. The real hope of man and The True promise of God.
In. 1:14. New King James Version
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
7- When God came as a man, he played by our rules. Jesus lived a righteous holy life that both distinguished Him has The true leader of mankind and as The Only son of God.

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
8- Jesus lived a witnessed, historically known Miraculous life. He turned the a few bread & the fishes to feed 1000s. He turned the water into wine. He healed the sick & the leper. He restored hope to Harlot & tax collector alike. He Even raised the Dead. He proved there was something spectacular & Super-ordinary about Him, in the miraculous way He lived.
John 20: 30 The disciples saw Jesus do many other miraculous signs in addition to the ones recorded in this book. 31 But these are written so that you may continue to believe[a] that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in him you will have life by the power of his name.
9- Jesus died the death of an innocent lamb to redeem the guilty conscience and character of man. The death of the righteous for the guilty. Such an incredible and wonderful plan, that it could only have come from God. What could cleanse the soul of man? Only the blood of Jesus. John 1:7 NLT But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.
10- The profound fact of His Life was that it did not end with His death. The worst Spectre of mankind was but the first achievement of the Savior. O Death where is thy sting? Jesus put an expectant comma, where there had before only been a final period.
Matthew 28:5-6 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”
11- The wonderful fact of Jesus resurrection means the incredible reality that He still lives. Jesus still lives today.

And though my heart grows weary,I never will despair;
