Never have Christians needed to be more relevant, to the real questions of our world. These notes were designed to help us see seven (7),points to have a real, Christ-centered Faith that communicates real value and Spiritual meaning to our world.

This is written more as a Biblical based study, than as a narrative. If you are interested in tweaking and targeting your faith, to make sure that you are on track with the Great Commission. And strengthening your following of Christ’s command; to be Fishers of Men. Then these thoughts may help, challenge & strengthen you!

1. The world is a hollow, empty place when man see’s himself, as the measure of all things. We Know we need a Higher Power!
A view of the Depravity-Of-Man BALANCED With-A view of The Light in every Man, which Recognizes Higher Authority takes some of the smug arrogance out of humanity. For instance, my own balance of these seeming opposing points leads me to humbly see. I for one KNOW that there is a God and that I am not Him. This recognition prepares me with an attitude that I am nothing without Christ, but I can be everything that Christ wants me to be, with his empowering. And this realization can help us see how to effectively reach our world. We must powerfully show the world that The Higher Power they need, lives; lives in us & can live in them!

Passages confirming (depravity) mans need of God.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,  And in sin my mother conceived me. 

Mark 7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, 

Ephesians 5:8 for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light
Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is more deceitful than all else & is desperately sick; Who can understand it? Ecclesiastes 7:20 Indeed, there is not a righteous man on earth who continually does good and who never sins.

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please.

2. As a Christian, We see Jesus as the most significant personage in history.

If our faith does not completely and effectively Center on Christ, then we have no compelling message for our world. Because the compelling message that the world needs to hear, is the message of Christ.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Proverbs 8:35-36 ESV / For whoever finds me finds life and obtains favor from the LORD, but he who fails to find me injures himself; all who hate me love death.”
John 1:1 ESV / In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Acts 4:11-12 ESV /
This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

When I (or others) struggle to know what God is like; I can look at Him. Jesus centers the perplexity of God in the Beauty of a real person. He solves the incomprehensibility of God through personal relationship!

His grace, understanding, compassion, wisdom and virtue give me an unending supply of knowledge about what human beings “ought to be.”

3. Scientific concepts only deepen Our faith.

If we are afraid to face the issues of our day. Then we cannot ask people follow our way. People must see that we Face the realities around us with the flame of Christ giving us Enlightened vision, to have any reason to want to follow a Christ who gives us understanding, perspective and serenity. In the face of the very things, that cause the world to realize its need.

Isaiah 42:5 Thus says God, the LORD, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and what comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk in it:
Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.
Revelation 4:11 “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”

The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship.

I do not advocate “BLIND FAITH.” I wrestle with the knowable facts of the world to determine how they effect my faith & how my faith should effect them. With the discovery of The Higgs Bolson Particles and Stephen Hawkins sensible theories that the origins of the world could come from a micro-miniature event horizon, as opposed to the heretofore supposed big bang. I now am lead to the scientific possibility that it makes sense that amazing properties of spontaneous generation exist. The question as a believer, I am left with is similar to the one I have always had about the big bang thinking. Could these micro-miniature sub-atomic particles & molecular realities have always existed in and of themselves? Or has my faith found an even deeper root in the question? Where do these amazing particles and theories of the subatomic origins of matter come from? In the same way that I asked the question where did the Big Bang come from. For me there must be a prime mover. If I see a watch, I know there must be a designer. ( It did not make itself). If I see the amazing design & intricacy of creation. Then there must be a Creator.

So what originally seemed to be an attack of my faith has only served to make my faith deeper & more profound. If the science is accurate (& I doubt the scientific theories more than a Creator). Then, the universe is literally exploding with “God particles.” They are in every part of the universe, they are around us, they are even in us. {This is no surprise to those of us who believe in a spiritual dimension! Just a confirmation.}

4. Trusting that we are not the measure of all things and that we are dependent on Divine providence gets rid of the brash arrogance of self-sufficiency.

It leads us to the same kind of conclusion that a healthy child discovers, about their earthly parent. We have a great debt to our Divine Parentage. / when we consider how great God is, then we must see how small we are. Humility is the only honest perspective that views the immensity of God and Divine realities.

Proverbs 11:12 : When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom. 9. 1 Peter 5:5 : Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

5. When trusted, God shows up.” Clearly, unmistakably, powerfully & miraculously; “God shows up.” /We must be the evidence of this that the world needs to see!
I absolutely know this is true! So science can neither confirm nor negate for me, what I know subjectively to be a fact. I need no greater evidence than my own rescued life. You, I & many others propose the wonderful evidence that we who have experienced this rescuing, renewing power of God have the most irrefutable evidence of all, personal experience.
So for me, the greatest evidence of God is not to be found in an atomic accelerator but in changed, Super empowered lives. I know why Marx talked about religion as an opiate. because of people who believe things that they do not know. This cultural faith is the dead, dogma of religion. But the Life of The Holy Spirit God is not a sedative but a rocket. For me & many others, He is a powerful life booster. A PowerBooster Whom leads us into deeper avenues of productivity in our human experience. That’s right our POWER BOOSTER is a WHOM! / SPIRITUAL REALITY IS LIFE IN CHRIST!

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

Job 33:4 “The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

6. The world does not need to see the dry historical traditional Church. The world needs to see empowered Christians who have been lifted out of their head and into their Savior’s Heart, to make a difference in this world!
1 Peter 1:23 for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.

7. Our life needs to powerfully declare that not only do we believe in a Power Higher than our self. But we belong to and are empowered by a Power Higher than our self.

1 John 4:4 KJV 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Through letting Christ truly be The Life & Light of our lives; Let us daily live The Christian Faith needed by a Doubting World!
