Importance versus Unimportance

Dear reader, it seems that I continually run into those that think that you must accept either a prognosis that you are utterly  unimportant,  or that you are not positive thinking if you are not consumed with your own lofty sense of importance. As with so many contrasting issues, balance between these two extremes is the key.

Healthy Balance

Some people need massive ego reduction to learn virtuous humility but just as many need an honest faith boost to believe in their potential. Humiliation is not humility AND Egomania is not healthy confidence. As mentioned, Balance is the key.

If you are low, God can lift you up and if you are self-righteous and puffed up, God can bring you down. No matter how far down we have gone, we need not grovel before God; there is no low place that His love can not reach! No matter how high we climb, we need not feel lofty before God; there is no high achievement that we do not owe His grace gratitude for providing.
