Pain and experiencing God’s help!

These thoughts are meant to be shared with those of you who are going through a season pain or loss.

I don’t know why-we often must go through pain. But I do know there’s a very real manifestation of God that can carry you through anything. God’s so mannerly with us that even though He’s already in us beyond what we realize; He won’t force His known presence in our life. He won’t Force His way with us, even though it might seem for the betterment of our well-being or others. God does not impose and dictate that we comply to Him. Free moral agency and the volition of choice is not just fancy words but a real fact of how God deals with His children. I suspect that it is also a great contributor to the self inflicted pain of many of His children.

Remember God cares for you. He hurts & cares for those who are humble of heart and seek Him. When people hurt, their heart longs for healing. These are profound moments when the heart of God is very near. God woos as a patient suitor. When we turn our hearts & genuinely yearn for His Help, He opens the floodgates of His love & comfort.

These temporary difficulties are not worthy to be compared to the wonderful eternal reality of The Gift of God which is for us, in Christ. He has promised to make an eternal dwelling, beyond our imagination but real, after this life for us. Looking forward to Christ’s promise of eternal life can help us see death as a seed planting: A necessary burial of the seed of human life, to become something wonderfully new!

Christ’s promise – Eternal Life

Many of my friends are going through Indescribable seasons of pain and hurt for themselves and the loss of one’s they love. I pray that each one of them experience the incredible closeness of Jesus that I have in my own season of suffering.

Just about every night I pray through the 23rd psalm, ( which I also enjoy reading about). I have discovered that the opening statement of this scripture Passage is very powerful. “The Lord is my Shepherd” is a declarative statement of joy from a heart who knows the most wonderful Divine Master. Spend 15 minutes on your knees at night for 30 days in deliberate-honest prayer. I guarantee it will change you in ways you can’t imagine. Many of you are often in my thoughts and prayers as I close the day in this way. With much love in The Spirit. Tim
