Me In A Tree

Most of my life I was in a hurry,
Always rushing to important dates,
But now In spite of pondering these moments of flurry,
I can’t imagine me without this fate.

I don’t guess I will solve world peace, up here,
Don’t guess I will eliminate crime,
But I sure seem to find my own peace here,
In This tree, I feel quite sublime.

Don’t guess I will discover a headline,
Or make a news flash to see,
But I sure feel like peace is mine,
Up here meditating in this tree.

I Probably won’t convince many to join me,
But that’s really ok indeed.
The Maker of The Universe joins me,
Up here praying in this tree.

So even though I couldn’t get here younger,
I’m glad I finally did,
There were secrets waiting for me here,
In this tree from The world hid.
