I had a professor in college in Los Angeles 44 years ago, at LIFE Bible College.. His name was Doctor Frank Hammond. The course I study with him was pneumatology, the study of the Holy Spirit. I remember God’s Spirit would come on us so powerfully in his class. That often, class would end up being a Revival at the front of his classroom. With all of us students kneeling in the floor, worshipping often in tears of praise to The Living God. One of the things, doctor Hammond said over and over and over again; was that it is not important to know about the Holy Spirit. But to know the Holy Spirit. The third person of the Triune godhead; Is a person. The Holy Spirit has the same complex attributes that Define personality in us. But only infinitely greater. He feels. He yearns. He knows. He senses. He cares. He moves. He convicts.. He summons. He’s long-suffering.

So, in your prayers don’t think of the Holy Spirit as some kind of inanimate Force. Remember that He is the third person of the Triune Godhead and that Christ has sent Him to make the Father real & known to us. It is not important how much that you know “about” the Holy Spirit, as much as it is that you “know the Holy Spirit!” Let the Holy Spirit of God make the scriptures alive to you as you read. And more than that let him make himself real unknown to you. And even more than that that He make the living Christ real inside you and day by day to be more and more like your Lord and Master!

Suggestion: Get to know The Holy Spirit, Personally! Be lead by The Holy Spirit.

John 16:13 – NLT When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.

Be lead by The Holy Spirit!
