The Hollow Of His Hand

My friend, Lora Rossi  @thehugginghome regularly shares her poetry on her site and it is wonderful and I enjoy it.

I am not known as a poet. I am known as a rough around the edges guy. But believe it or not, I still have a very poetic side. And since my strongest mission is for God. I decided I would share a poem that I wrote about my Creator, with you. I hope you enjoy it.

The Hollow of His Hand

Through all the wind swept eons of time,

through all the establishments and upheavals of mankind,

You alone remain constant.

Your clouds of mystery have shrouded

and overshadowed the ages.

Your moving touch has caressed all the dawns

since you began them.

The statured and stately trees in all places

have felt the breath of Your Spirit.

The barren deserts and majestic peaks

know the touch of Your forming hand.

All the seeds and all the breeds

in the span of Mother Earth

have witnessed the evidence

of Your living vibrations.

The sound disappearing over the hills

of a thousand times, a thousand sunsets

have whispered the finality of Your plans.

This worlds life, time and matter

utter reminiscent reflections of Your image.

This author’s pen can only picture a glimpse

of the Hollow of Your Hand.

Who knows maybe I will share some more of my poems in the future???
