Dear GutsIsTheKey reader. Certainly, my sales and professional speaking focus is the predominant career thrust currently. But nonetheless, I can never forget that my background was Christian ministry. It was the gentle, genuine molding of a Divine Friend that brought me to the point I am today; even in respect to business knowledge & ability.

     Sometimes, I try not to share God & nothing works in my life till I am willing to let Him be a part of every aspect.. He proves His touch to me whenever I am willing to speak for Him. He is the secret ingredient for me.  I do lots of professional tasks without mentioning God but He is never far from my mind and His principles guide me in everything that I do.

     Since I was a small child, God has been very real to me. Often I have resisted but His mercy and grace have prevailed. His mercy and grace and wisdom are an absolute constant in my life.  Many, Many, Many times; nothing in my world makes sense until I give my complete attention to God and am willing to share Him with others.

     If you have a true link, with God; His awesome pure nature will keep you working on your character defects for the rest of your life. I love this foundation of my life. Beneath all the professional tasks on the surface is a powerful under-current of love and service to God.

      The word God is so misused that people scarcely think of the concept of what they mention, when they say the word. You can refer to Him and know nothing about Him. He is so powerful and explodes every facet of life for me.  Think of it this way-If there are “God Particles,” as a common physics postulate theorizes; then every bit of time, matter, space, energy and life is infused with His living reality.

     Those that serve Him may accomplish tremendous good in this world; though this real work of God is often unnoticed by those around them. If someone troubled is touched & does not carry out the harm they might otherwise have done, we have changed the world. But only God sees this accomplishment. And as it should be; it is humble, non-glorious love-service. It is our work but in a deeper way, it is His work.

     Though the world may not sing your accolades; God has ways to let you know that you are pleasing to Him, when you serve Him. And God thunders, when in silence He speaks. Most times, I must silence me, when I need to hear from God, in this way.  Knowledge from God only seems to flow, when we humbly admit our need.

     Sometimes I must to get to the point where I know I can not do a certain thing, to truly discover that God can do it … through me. In this way, I become empowered to do things that I could not otherwise do without Him. His working in me is greater than my working without Him.

God literally wants to walk with us through the course of our life and work.

     But many of you have some moment of a poor experience with people who claimed to serve God that prevents you from serving Him today. Don’t worry about it, if you have tried to follow some concept of God and it did not work for you or you blew it. If you do not “blow it” sometimes; either you are not being honest with yourself or you are not trying enough. God will be found by you, if you keep looking. Stumble through these steps and you will eventually find a staircase of love and peace that will lead you into the heart of God. He tends to be only found by fervent search. This is just the way it is; in spiritual discovery. It must remain in the realm of fervent searching; to be what it is supposed to be. “Seek and ye will find.”

     Every dimension of life is an opportunity to say I love you to your Creator. There are no parts of your life, He is not interested in. The greatest things you ever do, no one but God will ever see. The most beautiful sanctuary you will ever enter is the one inside you; where God desires to commune with you in intimate fellowship, in your heart.

     Jesus defined greatness for me, as service. If I love Him, I will serve my fellow-man. So, every professional mission; even when I do not mention God; is for me an extension of my service to Him. I am most fulfilled, when my work is actually a result and product of His work in me.
