So, if you have been around GutsIsTheKey for a while; you know that sales training and support has been the major thrust of my writing, for the last couple of years. I will always be prolifically involved in the sales arena.

But now that I have co-authored a couple of books and authored my own solo book, my writing niche and interests have changed somewhat. In addition to interacting with people and being an involved social net-worker on Twitter; my content there and here on GutsIsTheKey will now take on a new flavor. A flavor, more in line with my evolving professional direction, talents and heart. This flavor will be called #Slamism .

Many of my thoughts will always be relative and helpful to the #salescategory. However, sales topics now seem an inadequate platform, for the primary focus of professional aims that I want to pursue. My writing and speaking interests in the areas of  #personalfulfillment, #personalempowerment, #careerfulfillment and #careerempowerment have intensified. These thought categories will become the driving topics behind my life, writing and work, from this point on….

Thoughts on these topics are intertwined with each other. They are curiously connected by the common thematic thread of personal dynamism. And more and more, this brand of dynamism that I teach and help others with seems to be best called #Slamism. 

 So here we go. It begins. #Slamism is born! I will begin to make this shift in all my social media communications and furthermore, as a decided career direction change. This article hopefully explains my thinking to some of you, who have supported and followed me so closely. As you know, I use GutsIsTheKey.com as my private think tank and inspiration tool. And in this growth of thought process, Many of you have been pivotally important and powerfully influential in this #Slamism change..

Yes, this change will influence a lot of things: My book directions, sales and speaking engagements and marketing direction… I am happy about this growth. And I am thankful for each of you reading and contributing to my life. So with the creation of this BEAM (article), a new category is born on this site. You guessed it. Slamism!

Just as importantly as what this change means is what it does not mean. Many of you count on me for inspirational, prayer and faith-based writing. Never fear. You can count on this to continue. I will not forget where I get my power from. I am thankful to God for these positive changes in my life. In fact, I am certain that it is His leadership that has helped me see, to make these decisions..

Many friends have been especially important in this growth and development. A few have been particularly important in this growth of my thought and career direction. Steve Gutzler must forever be credited with giving me the nickname “Slam” and for encouraging me, these last few years; as I have started this career path. Ha Tran was especially important in helping me see that “Slamism” was an idea whose time was right and that people really needed to hear. Online friends like Shirlena Comeaux, Deana Meadows, Flo Bivens and Heather Gauthiere have been dynamite believers in my work. They (and others) have often kept me going more than they know. Gio Gaudelli has been an important and steady bright voice of cheer, I have needed as I have developed these thoughts. I have learned that I can count on him. And most critically, Margo DeGange has emerged on my scene in the last couple of years; as my  publisher, thought mentor and motivational catalyst. I must credit these friends for their invaluable inspiration!
