Dear Guts Is The Key Reader; The roots of why I write and who I am have not changed. Here is one of the foundational articles about why I write this BEAM (blog). I might say it a little different today but the essence of what I said is still very much true of me today. I am a rugged, rough and tumble guy; with a big heart and giant faith and this propels me to do all I do. I like a good fight…..  Weird you think. Well, I don’t think so. Everything worth doing deserves a good tussle. If you want to stay married, you’d need to prefer fighting to switching. If you want to succeed at your work, you’d better be willing to give the task a good wrestle. If you want to be a good neighbor, you’d better be willing to fight for your neighbor’s rights.
