A friend reposted an article of mine from 7 years ago tonight. Reminding me and others of the importance of a daily focus time.  It was just what I needed perhaps it will help you as well!

It is Hugely Important to have a Daily Focus Time.  A time when your spiritual welfare and connection with God is your  primary, if not only concern.. It is so critical to well being and growth to start your day with a time of reflection, reading, meditation, prayer and planning. It is like a primer to jump-start your day. If for some reason, mornings don’t work for you; have this time whenever, but make it a definite appointment that you keep each day. Many people say they want personal growth and development but treat their life haphazardly. If you want good things out of your life. Put good things in your life. Have a daily focus time. Invest in your own peace of mind and mental outlook. Construct a time that is centered on your own well-fare and well-being. Perhaps you have thought to do this but have put it off. This is that little voice that you need. Just that little push you have been looking for. Invest in your own life, by having a daily time of spiritual, mental and emotional targeting and growth.
