Every Fire starts with a spark! You and I can make a difference!

One of the biggest culprits of productivity is a looming sense of insignificance that seems to attack most of humanity. After all, when we consider our infinitesimally small proportion, in respect to the Grandeur of the infinite universe, how can it not be intimidating?  And when one doesn’t feel significant, it is nearly impossible to be truly productive. And so it seems that people too often fall into one of two fallacious categories. Either people fall into a daily suffering from insecurities that stem from a deep lack of meaning. Which goes onto deprive them of essential self worth necessary to productivity.

Or the other false category that enslaves human beings to inferior thinking and personal concepts. Is the tendency to regress into some sort of grandiose megalomania of self love. A delusional fantasy, that causes people to reside in some sort of narcissism, where they think more of themselves than they ought. This might seem on the surface to be productive but because it is not truly fulfilling; it does not lead to the highest meaning and the best long-term productivity.

Thus, The why am I here, where am I going and what is my purpose question cannot be avoided: if 1 is to have the deepest sense of meaning and significance. For me as a Quaker, I have discovered My Equity and value in a real, daily relationship with my Divine Benefactor.

If there is a God and I believe there is. Then He is here right now. And He is able to communicate His presence and vitality to each one of us in a direct and meaningful, spiritual way. This is not weird or way out but the confirmed experience of millions of believers, for ages.  And from this deeply rooted Foundation anchored to a rock-solid experience and knowledge of God, comes a tremendous sense of well-being and value. This is a safe bedrock for true productivity.

Therefore I dare to dream. As I said in the book, Discover Your Splendor in Life: “When we sense that our plan is actually a part of a grander plan, then our actions bring a high sense of worth and value.”

Because of this, dreaming about incredible possibilities for myself and this life are not delusional. They are rather empowered visions of Hope. Because I know that when this life is over, I have eternal value to my Maker Whom exists and guides every domain. Therefore, what I do here makes a bigger difference, than I can see right now.

Effort seeds planted to seek God and His will, genuinely multiply & develop infinitely in The Holy Spirit’s care. In the warm fertile soil of His touch & guidance, our efforts can turn into more then we can imagine, especially when watered by Prayer.

I recently said in a post: “Everything in the world could be so fantastic; if everybody just tried to do the right thing all the time. It could be!” Of course this is an idyllic fantasy. But at one time Martin Luther King Jr’s dream was an idyllic fantasy. A fantasy which to a large extent has come to pass. Truly, To achieve great outcomes, the steps must be born of great ideas. Ideas which could have looked at the time to be so remarkable that they seem far-fetched.

Which brings me back to the point of this article. Every Fire starts with a spark! You and I can make a difference! Belief precedes accomplishment. Conviction precedes performance. Settle the problem of internal value and worth. And then you can commit yourself rightly, to a path of high aim, productivity and value!  Slam-
