Slam’s Amazing {NO WILD}, Venison Roast!
This recipe requires a good size CrockPot. I used an 8 quart CrockPot.
**NOTE: 3 Days Preparation!!!
◇(This is not complicated but you Cannot shortcut it, for the best results)… &
◇(You must leave CrockPot space in your refrigerator for 3 days. Since the preparation takes this long. Do not leave out & do each marination stage in refrigeration for safety.).
[A] Roast Preparation

I used about a 4 pound shoulder roast.
-Unthawed in the frig. for at least 12 hours in Cheerwine.
-Finished unthawing & soaking in Canada Dry Ginger Ale 12 hours.
-Marinated in Orange Juice in the frig. for 12 hours.
-Optional but recommended step:
Marinade 2-3 hours;
Moores Original Marinade.
[B] Stock Preparation

1~ 1 – 12 oz. can Margaret Holmes Red Beans & Rice
2~ 1 – 12 oz. can Margaret Holmes Seasoned Italian Green Beans – Drain
3~ 1 – 12 oz. can Margaret Holmes Tomatoes , Okra & Corn – Drain
4~ 1 – 12 oz. can Margaret Holmes Tomatoes & Okra – Drain
5~ 1 – 12 oz. can Tuttorosso Basil, Garlic & Oregano Diced Tomatoes – Sauce In
6~ 8 ozs. GTS Fall
|Apple, carrot, tumeric & spice| non-alcoholic Kombucha
7~ 2 tablespoons pepper
8~ 2 Heaping Scoops Slam’s Secret Recipe Chow Chow *sorry- had to have a special touch 😉
9~ 2 heaping scoops chopped garlic
10~ Stir altogether. Stir altogether. Makes about 1/3 pot.
[C] Cooking the Roast

11~ Insert Roast.
12~ Cook 9 hours on low heat only. Turning roast once or twice in Sauce. Stirring with each turn.
13. After 2-3 hours, Blend in 6-8 oz. Of honey in the mix .
13. After 4-6 hours add 8 more oz.s GT kombucha.
14. 9 hours. Cut off & refrigerate OR leave on warm if you are ready to serve within the hour.
14a.. My roast remains whole…. & we will serve the veggie stew stock over rice as a 2nd dish. And the roast as a centerpiece. 14b.. If your roast falls apart, just blend in with the veggie stock & serve like stew beef.
